Content, Day 1:

   Theory:

  • Getting a coherent view of the new LI model, from receiving the client to the protocols of the three stages of LI therapy
  • Assessing clients from the very start: the type of client, from securely attached and mono-trauma to disorganised /very insecure attachment and complex trauma
  • Understanding the dynamic of the LI process and attuning it to the client’s profile
  • Moving from targeting single trauma to trusting the laws of network dynamics
  • Being able to read the Window of Tolerance of the client and adjusting the proceedings accordingly
  • Deepening the understanding of hypoactivation and freeze
  • Being able to detect when we overstimulate the client’s system and how to correct this
  • All the ways we can regulate the client and modulate the process: keeping the prefrontal cortex online without connecting the type 3 client to his trauma-linked sensations and emotions

   Practice:

  • Assessing a client with the assessment map, cases are provided by facilitator team
  • Practicing the various ways to keep client present
  • Trying the new way to do Baseline Protocol

- With few developmental stages

- With bouncing cues

- Questions in the break

- When have we done enough repetitions?
