Lifespan Integration™ Training And Supervision

IN ORDER TO ATTEND The Training, A THERAPIST MUST HAVE A GRADUATE DEGREE IN THE FIELD OF MENTAL HEALTH. THE TRAININGS ARE OPEN TO CLINICIANS WITH MA, MSW, PSYD, AND PHD DEGREES IN PSYCHOLOGY, MD PSYCHIATRISTS OR THERAPISTS ATTESTING AN EQUIVALENT EDUCATION.

LI Training consists of three blocks - Level One, Level Two and Level Three. Additionally, it ist mandatory to deepen practical knowledge unter the guidance of a Lifespan Integration™ Supervisor. Single and/or Group Supervision with me is available in Neuchâtel, Stein am Rhein, Winterthur or via Skype in german, french or english language.

Additionally, workshops, in which special protocols for various fields of application, concrete cases and the scientific background of LI are presented in more detail, are available at these locations. Since the fundamental LI training only takes 3x2 days, it is highly recommended to continually deepen and expand the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge needed in order to succesfully apply the LI-Method for the specialized treatment of a wide variety of cases.

(Some of the following text is part of the LI presentation on lifespanintegration.com, with kind permission of Peggy Pace.)

Beginner (LI 1)

Participants will learn about the history of LI and the fundamental principles underlying LI.  The various LI protocols will be overviewed, and the first steps of LI treatment planning will be discussed.

An insight into the neurosciences shows how traumatic experiences interfere with the neural network. The ramifications: split fragments of the self and gaps in the life-narrative of the affected person.

Participants create a visual timeline of their life. They experience for themselves how deep the LI processes operate - and how fast and effective they can change physical feelings and emotional well-being.

Completing this training enables participants to apply the learned LI elements in the therapy of light to moderate cases (depending on their knowledge of attachment, trauma, and ego states).

Intermediate (LI 2)

During the Level 2 training participants will learn about the LI Attunement protocol, and how to use this protocol to help clients build self structure and regulate emotion.

Participants in this training will learn how to use the LI Birth to Present protocol to clear any known or unknown birth trauma. They will learn how to design individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique psychic structure and needs.

Graduates of the LI Intermediate seminar are entitled to register as a certified LI Practitioner on the international Lifespan Integration List.

In order to attend the intermediate seminar, you have to have completed LI Training Level

1 training as well as one group supervision with LI case presentation. It is recommended, yet optional, to have had one personal LI session.

Advanced (LI 3)

In Level 3 three important LI protocols, Relationship Clearing,Script Clearing and Preverbal Attachment Repair are introduced. Further, participants will practice the LI Attunement Protocol, which was part in Level 2.

The LI Preverbal Attachment Repair protocol permits to repair breaches in attachment which may have occurred at various stages of development.

Graduates of the Level 3 Training will be able to treat clients experiencing the effects of severe early-childhood trauma, with strong dissociation and fragmentation and unstable living conditions with LI Therapy.

To participate in the advanced seminar, you have to have attended LI Training Level 1 and Level 2, and one LI session treating early childhood trauma, as well as three supervisions.
